WEICON Wire Stripper No.7
Automatic, wire stripper for all common round and flat
cables. The special tracing system adjusts automatically
to the wire diameter and allows quick and accurate cable
and wire stripping.
- A precise adjustment (5-fold) on various cable types and diameters is possible.
- Optical length scale 8-24 mm / 5/16 – 3/4 inch.
- Easily accessible built-in side cutter up to max. 3 mm Ø.
Typ No. 7-R
For the work with mainly round cables (as commonly
used, e.g., in many european countries)
Round cables:
Cable and wire stripping of flexible cables in a range of
0,5 mm² to 16,0 mm² (20-6 AWG). Solid conductors from
0,5 mm² to 10,0 mm² (20-8 AWG).
Flat cables:
Cable and wire stripping of two-core flat cables with
PVC insulation from 0,75 mm² to 1,5 mm².
Typ No. 7-F
For the work with mainly flat cables (as commonly used,
e.g., in USA, GB, Japan)
Flat cables:
Cable and wire stripping of two- or three-core flat cables
with PVC insulation from 0,75 mm² to 4,0 mm².
Round cables:
Cable and wire stripping of flexible cables in a range of
0,5 mm² to 16,0 mm² (20-6 AWG). Solid conductors from
0,5 mm² to 10,0 mm² (20-8 AWG).
Cables with diameters of more than 10,0 mm² must be
stripped in two steps:
- Cut isolation;
- Turn tool by 90°, cut again and strip isolation.
