Efficient cathodic corrosion protection
WEICON Brushable Liquid Zinc Paint is a metal pigment coating, which can be used to actively and permanently protect metallic surfaces against corrosion. WEICON Brushable Liquid Zinc Paint uses high concentration and pure spherical (round) metal pigments. The high amount of zinc in the coating ensures efficient cathodic corrosion protection. For repairs and coatings of frames, gates, doors, balustrades, poles, posts, machine parts etc. Thus, it meets the requirements stated in the DIN EN ISO 1461 standard. If the surface is damaged, the zinc molecules react with air humidity to form zinc oxide molecules which protect the base material from corrosion.

The WEICON Brushable Liquid Zinc Paint has a temperature resistance of approximately +400°C, which means it is suited for applications where the coated surface is exposed to high temperatures.
However, the processing temperature for applying the paint should be between +18°C and +30°C. This is important to ensure an even distribution and optimal adhesion of the coating.
For surfaces that exceed 30°C, the coating can still be applied, but special care must be taken to ensure that the viscosity and processing properties of the paint are not negatively affected.
If the substrate is extremely hot, it may be advisable to conduct the application while controlling the temperature to maintain the quality of the coating.
