To ensure a long-term attractive appearance, stainless steel surfaces must be cleaned and taken care of regularly. The care spray not only removes new flash rust, but also prevents new dirt from clinging to the surfaces. WEICON Stainless Steel Care Spray is ideal for outdoor use. It can be used for both matt and polished stainless steel surfaces. It also removes grease films and fingerprints and provides long-lasting protection. Repair and mending of machine parts
with WEICON ST
In all areas of industry, stainless steel machines and machine parts require regular maintenance and frequently repairs. Abrasion causes heavy wear of individual parts. Before replacing these and buying new ones, it makes sense to think about a more cost-effective and sustainable repair. The epoxy resin system WEICON ST can be ideally used for repair and touch-up work on machine parts and components made of stainless steel. The pasty repair compound can therefore be used on large tanks or containers, for example, and even replace welding in some cases. It is anti-corrosive and features a stainless steel filling.
Secure screws, seal pipes & threads and attach joining parts
with WEICONLOCK®
Screws have to be secured regularly on all machines, production systems, waterworks, in railing construction, arts and crafts, and numerous other areas. WEICONLOCK® products can be used to secure screws, seal pipes and threads, and attach joining parts. Zinc flake coating as safe corrosion protection for screws has become increasingly important over the last few years. If the coated screws are going to be bonded with anaerobic threadlockers, however, this presents a particular challenge, as the coating has a negative impact on both the curing behaviour and the contact to the base material. WEICON offers specific adhesive types, which are especially suitable for use on stainless steel and zinc flake coated screws. Advantages are the higher strength and faster curing on the passive stainless steel. After curing, a shock- and vibration-resistant joint with excellent resistance to chemicals, solvents and temperatures is formed.

No-mix adhesives for series production
with WEICON RK 1300 and RK 1500
In the series production of products, things have to move fast. It is highly important here that suitable products are used. Especially for the visually sophisticated bonding of stainless steel, glass and ceramics with and among each other, two WEICON products can offer an ideal solution: the acrylic structural adhesives WEICON RK 1300 and RK 1500. Together with an activator, the adhesive forms a 2C-system that is processed in a no-mix procedure. The methacrylate adhesives, which cure at room temperature, can be used for large area bonding. Owing to their fast curing time, they are ideal for series production of products in which stainless steel is processed, as long waiting times are avoided.

WEICON Anti-Seize High-Tech
Wear, corrosion and seized screws on stainless steel can have many reasons. However, heavy loads, environmental influences and insufficient maintenance on flanges, gearboxes, gears, rollers and screws are often among the biggest influencing factors. Regular lubrication is therefore crucial to ensuring the long service life of machinery and equipment. WEICON Anti-Seize High-Tech is a metal-free assembly paste that has an exceptionally good release effect. It is especially suitable for high-alloy steels such as stainless steel. Owing to the absence of a metal filling, the assembly paste prevents the occurrence of interactions and thus prevents seizing/cold welding.

High-strength bonding of stainless steel and plastic
with WEICON Easy-Mix RK-7000 and RK-7100
Strong bonds are especially necessary for larger bonding areas. High-strength bonds between plastic and stainless steel can be achieved excellently with WEICON Easy-Mix RK-7000 and WEICON Easy-Mix RK-7100. Owing to their somewhat thicker adhesive film, methyl methacrylate adhesives are mainly used in the advertising or lighting sector or in furniture construction. The two adhesives have different curing times – so you can find the right adhesive for every application.

Fast bonding & repairs
with WEICON Contact VA 2500 HT and WEICON Contact VA 30 black
With some repairs, being fast is crucial. For bonding and repairing rubber with stainless steel or other elastomers with stainless steel, two types of WEICON Cyanoacrylate Adhesives are especially suitable. The instant adhesives WEICON Contact VA 2500 HT and WEICON Contact VA 30 black can be ideally used for smaller delicate bondings. They connect the materials with and among each other within seconds. The instant adhesive Contact VA 30 black is characterised especially by its high temperature resistance and its resistance to changing climatic conditions. WEICON Contact VA 2500 HT boasts excellent moisture resistance.

External influences, such as dust, dirt or water, can weaken the connection and in the worst case even loosen it. Therefore, it is crucial to seal joints professionally. With Flex 310 M® Stainless Steel, WEICON offers a sealant especially for the stainless steel sector. It is impressive not only because of its colour which has been adapted to stainless steel, but also because of its high adhesive strength and elasticity. The adhesive is therefore especially suitable for container construction or the manufacture of letterboxes.

Bonding stainless steel and rubber
WEICON GMK 2510
The use of large-area bonding of stainless steel has increased in recent years and is now indispensable. WEICON GMK 2510 is a 2-component polychloroprene-based adhesive for large-area and permanently elastic bonding of rubber to rubber and rubber to stainless steel. The rubber-metal adhesive has a high initial adhesion and boasts a significantly better adhesion strength and improved temperature resistance compared to 1-component contact adhesives. After curing, the bonds are resistant to humidity.

Small repairs
with WEICON Repair Sticks
Chipped pieces of stainless steel, dents or scratches are never pleasant. Not only the appearance, but also the functioning of machines can be impaired in this way. Often, a small repair without much effort is sufficient. In this case, the WEICON Repair Stick Stainless Steel can be used. It is characterised by its stainless steel filling and its colour adapted to stainless steel. In addition, it is certified for use in food contact applications.
