Weicon Epoxy Minute Adhesive yellow
To protect sensitive assemblies, electronic components and semiconductors, adhesives and sealants manufacturer Weicon has developed a special casting compound – Weicon Epoxy Minute Adhesive yellow.
Specially for the electronics sector
The
yellow two-component epoxy casting compound cures fast and is impact-resistant.
The viscous compound is self-leveling, shock-resistant, shows high adhesive
strength, and is solvent-free.
The epoxy resin system has a short pot life of 4-5 minutes and is mechanically loadable after about one hour. Epoxy Minute Adhesive Yellow adheres very well to printed circuit boards and electronic components. The compound was specially developed for electronics and is used to protect sensitive parts such as electronic components, semiconductors and assemblies. It protects the sensitive components from moisture, dust and dirt as well as from mechanical stress.
Casting compound and adhesive
Epoxy
Minute Adhesive yellow is suitable for applications in various areas, such as for
grounding work in electrical engineering and the electronics industry and for casting
cable connections. Due to its distinct yellow colour, the casting compound
facilitates visual inspection.
Due to its strong adhesion and fast cure time, the compound can also be used as an adhesive. It adheres very well to surfaces such as metal, plastics, fiberglass-reinforced plastics, glass, and ceramics.
