What is special about contact adhesives

The contact makes the difference

What are contact adhesives?

Contact adhesives belong to the group of physically setting adhesives. These are adhesives that cure without a complex chemical reaction. The adhesive is activated and cures solely by the evaporation of the solvent. In the case of chemically setting adhesives, on the other hand, the adhesive is formed by the chemical reaction of polyaddition, polycondensation or polymerization.
Contact adhesives are available as 1-component adhesives, as 2-component systems, and also for spraying, such as our WEICON Spray Adhesive.

What are contact adhesives used for?
